Charging system

The 2nd generation Antares charging system is installed on board the aircraft and provides independence from local charging infrastructure. Only a mains outlet is required.

Extensive use of automotive assemblies and components has resulted in maximum reliability.

The charger incorporates an electrically isolated power module and dual insulation in all devices. The system is in full compliance with all relevant personal safety standards. The charging system has been certified in accordance with aviation standards ED-79, DO-178C and DO-254. The applicable Design Assurance Level is C (DAL C). The procedures stipulated by DAL C guarantee high-quality and highly secure hardware and software. This makes the 2nd generation Antares charging system unique worldwide.
