2010: Lindbergh Award

Officially presented by Erik Lindbergh, grandson of Charles Lindbergh: the very first Lindbergh Electric Aircraft Prize (LEAP) ever, directly from the hands of the venerable Lindbergh family, was a milestone for Lange Aviation. It was presented during the EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2010.

2011: Berblinger Prize

The award of the prestigious Berblinger Prize is particularly noteworthy. As the winner of the Berblingen Flight Competition 2011 for innovative, environmentally friendly and resource-conserving design and propulsion systems, Lange Aviation was recognized for its Antares 20E among a total of 36 participants from six countries.

2017: OSTIV Award

The International Technical and Scientific Organization of Gliding (OSTIV) has awarded designer Axel Lange of Lange Aviation in Zweibrücken the highest distinction it has to offer for his pioneering achievements. At the organization’s congress, which took place parallel to the 34th World Gliding Championships in Benalla, Australia, OSTIV President Professor Rolf Radespiel presented the award to Professor Loek Boermans on behalf of Mr. Lange.
