AERO Friedrichshafen 2017: Electric flight on the rise

For the first time, gliding, which is showcased at AERO every two years, was on display in Hall 5. Our Antares 23E and the Antares 18T also attracted huge public interest at the new location. The close proximity to the show’s e-flight-expo allowed us to present ourselves as the manufacturer that has been mass-producing certified electric aircraft since 2004 and, with more than 90 aircraft, has sold more of them than all other manufacturers worldwide combined. We also had the opportunity to present the Antares E² project of our subsidiary Lange Research Aircraft GmbH at our booth, a fuel cell powered research aircraft with a long range and flight duration.
